Learn to ski or snowboard with us. We offer a variety of lessons in skiing, snowboarding & telemark for all ages & abilities in a fun & safe environment.
Wednesday Night Lessons
During free ski nights
1 hour group ski or snowboard lessons are available for $45/per person from 6pm-7pm for ages 8-99
Lesson participants may register online or by calling our Snowsports Administrator during Snowsports Office Hours: Thursday & Friday 1:30pm-4pm & Saturday & Sunday 9am-4pm. All participants must check in at the ski school desk inside the lodge by 5:30pm.
Participants must meet at the fire-pit no later than 5:45pm & be able to load the lift independently.
Students in 2nd grade or younger qualify for a free season pass & can fill out a season pass form here.

Snowsports Administrator

1 hour group lesson
These group lessons are designed for beginner & novices ages 5 & older as well as adults. Ski or snowboard. A great way to get introduced to the sport. Groups meet at 10:00am, 12:00pm or 2:00pm on Saturdays & Sundays. Tickets are not included. $65

90 minute group lesson
For those ages 5-6 (ski only) & 7-99 (ski & snowboard). Morning lessons run from 10:00am-11:30. Afternoon lessons begin at 2:00pm & end at 3:30pm. Tickets are not included. $75

learn to ski & ride package
For those wanting to learn how to make their first turns. This package includes a lift ticket, rentals & a 1 hour lesson. Lessons are offered on Saturdays & Sundays at 10:00am, 12:00pm & 2:00pm. Participants meet at the ski school sign near the outdoor fire pit. (please line up 15 minutes prior to the lesson start time). $100 (1 time only)

private lesson
Private 1 hour clinics are offered at 10:00am, 12:00pm & 2:00pm for those who are looking to escalate their skills in a one on one learning environment. Tickets are not included. $90. One additional student may join for an additional $50 for a semi-private group lesson. (additional student must be similar age and skill level)

telemark lesson
Learn from Paul Weiss, former North American Telemark Organization (NATO) instructor & guide. Lessons will be adapted to your level, from beginner to advanced. This is not an “out of the box” ski lesson. Professional guiding & instruction on Black Mountain backcountry tails & glades on Rumford Whitecap available. Does not include gear or lift ticket. glade clinic
90 minute clinic for intermediate & above levels only. Improve your skiing & riding on ungroomed terrain by adding the tools required to safely enjoy the trees, steeps, bumps & powder. Experience the incredible glade network that BMOM’s own Angry Beavers have created. Explore in boundary glades from Allagash Woods to St. Croix based on your comfort level. All mountain skis with an 88mm waist are required for skiers. Conditions & instructor availability dependent. $100. (up to 3 additional students may join for an additional $40 each).
