River Valley Businesses, Organizations, Individual Contributors and anonymous donors needed the 2007-08 Season "Need to Ski" Scholarship Program

For the fourth year of this initiative, Black Mountain of Maine will be teaming up with area schools, businesses and individuals to provide season passes and rental equipment to students in the region who would otherwise not be able to get a season pass. To qualify, students will be asked to submit a brief essay. Essays will be reviewed by a selection committee based on a number of criteria.

Last year, the following businesses and individuals provided either $200.00 full scholarships as Sponsors, or partial scholarships as Co-Sponsors. With this outstanding involvement, 36 scholarships were provided. We thank these generous donors for their help and hope to have more in 2007-08.
